About
PJSC Sakhavostokneftegaz is an oil and natural gas refinery privately owned and controlled, founded, and was incorporated in 2006, the company is fully focused on exploration of hydrocarbon deposits, oil, and natural gas production as well as upstream, midstream, and downstream activities. The refinery owns a number of licenses approved by the state authorities for geological survey, exploration, and production of petroleum materials at oil and gas matured fields within the territory of the Russian Federation and its continental shelf.
The main objective of the refinery, is expanding our hydrocarbon deposits and exploration activities by evaluating and acquiring new licensed sites, seismic exploration, exploration and production drilling with advanced technologies. Since 2016, the refinery has reached the level of a 150 – 250 thousand meters of production drilling, which gave the refinery up to 45 new wells annually, drilling are also carried out both on matured and new fields.
Over the years, PJSC Sakhavostokneftegaz has been comprehensively modernizing the refinery facilities with a total value of over 187 billion rubles. The company is gradually getting rid of obsolete production facilities and introducing modern industrial complexes.
Thanks to the implemented modernizing projects, the company has already reduced its environmental footprints by 68%. The purpose of modernization is to achieve the best international ASTM, REACH, and GOST standards for efficient production and environmental safety.

The refinery re-modernization process begins and implementation of large-scale oil and gas projects using innovative technologies and modern equipment, increasing the resource base, maintaining a favorable environment, rational use of natural resources, strengthening economic stability, and developing social infrastructure in the regions of operation.

Installation on allocation of total xylenes introduced into operation extractive distillation process aromatics for the purpose of obtaining commercial benzene purity of at least 99.9% of the benzene fraction of 62-85 º C.

The company launched its official website to expands its business to the international marketplace and in the same year, we completed the construction of a universal complex for the disposal of oily waste.

2015
The bitumen production unit was reconstructed, The obsolete small bitumen plant has been eliminated and the sulfur recovery unit was reconstructed, the plant significantly increased energy and resource efficiency by increasing the production of modern environmentally friendly products: motor fuel, aviation kerosene, building, and road bitumen.

2016
The installation of large-sized equipment of the Euro + modern combined oil refining unit began. The complex will replace five installations of the previous generation. The commissioning of Euro + will make it possible to increase the production of motor and aviation fuel, reduce the environmental impact by 11% from each processed ton of oil, and improve energy efficiency indicators

2017
The refinery switches to the production of Euro-5 ecological fuel, thanks to the construction of light naphtha isomerization and catalytic cracking gasoline hydro-treatment units, which provided the production of modern low-sulfur fuel components. In terms of diesel fuel, a large reconstruction of the hydro-treating unit was carried out, which allowed the refinery to bring the sulfur content to Euro-5 GOST standards.
The hydrocracking complex enabled the enterprise to produce more than 350 thousand tons of diesel fuel and gasoline annually without increasing oil refining volumes.

Reconstruction of an installation for the purification of associated petroleum and natural gas from sulfur compounds was carried out, an installation for the utilization of acid gases with the production of liquid sulfur by the Klaus method was built.

2019
The refinery significantly increased production of vacuum gas oil, diesel fuels and gasolines that meet Euro-5 requirements, as well as coke varieties that are in demand on the market.

While crude oil deliveries via pipeline to China via the state-owned pipeline transit network has been much more reliable. Our shipments to the Asia Pacific grew by 45% in 2020 comparing to 35% in 2019 from these developments.
The refinery cooperates with leading international shipping and vessel handlers to enable faster loading and delivery times, according to the shipping schedule stipulated on the contract.

Oil RefineryAfter the company successfully negotiate the acquisition of the private mini-refinery from the state authority, originally built during the U.S.S.R era.
We immediately carried out western modernizations, expanding and removing obsolete modules and putting in place new custom-built catalyst production facilities.
The modernizations gave the refinery Isomalk-2 technology, which enables the refinery to organize the production of grade fuels 4 to grade 5 fuels. Currently, the refinery is at phase III of its major advanced technological modernization projects, the refinery’s now capable of producing Euro grade 6 fuels.

Gas Processing PlantGas Processing Plant became a part of the enterprise in 2012, and a freight fleet was built with a loading rack for shipping a wide fraction of light hydrocarbons and stable gas for subsequent shipment to consumers via railway tanks.
PJSC Sakhavostokneftegaz processes a range of gas such as dry gas, wet gas, shale gas, stripped gas, liquefied natural gas, and marketable gas at the company’s gas processing plant located in the Eastern part of Siberia, Russia.
